| After we posted Scoop's attempt to get a quote from Chaz, we were flooded with phone calls from Rev. Danger's cell phone demanding we make time to cut another interview. We scheduled one for later today but to out chagrin, we arrived this morning to find a Fed Ex from San Antonio containing this video. Wow Media Update: WOW Reporter Searches for Chaz Taylor WOW reporter Scoop Peterson has been hot on the trail of Chaz Taylor ever since Rev. Kevin Danger Robbins of The New Church issued a challenge against him. WOW President Michael Wright sent to would be journalist to find and interview Chaz in hopes of getting a response. Unfortunately as of yesterday, no one had heard from Chaz. WOW President Michael Wright had this to say, "I've known Chaz Taylor for a long time. He has never backed down from any challenge. I am more than sure he will be at the Willowbrook Sports Complex for this match against Brother Luthor." With that being said everyone at WOW went ahead and signed the match without Chaz's signature. As a safety precaution, we contacted Scoop and sent him to the Taylor residence to get an official word from Chaz. This is what he brought us. WoW Media Update: The Title Picture This Friday will be a tremendous night as World of Wrestling makes it way to a brand new venue. We need a ton of space because WOW is growing faster and faster every week. This Friday at the Willowbrook Sports Complex in Houston Texas, we will have not 1, but 4 title matches. Yes, that's right, as ordered by WOW President Micheal Wright, 4 Championship Matches will Be Taking Place This Friday!!! First, the Tag Team Titles will be defended as The Crusaders, affectionately known as Pop N'Lock, will challenge the WOW Tag Team Champions, Double Trouble, Chris James and Tony Vega. These two teams have been waging war with each other for a few months now and I can guarantee you that you do not Now, that being said, reminds us here at WOW Update that we have another exciting return match for the WOW Woman's Title. A few months ago, Princessa Pink challenged then WOW Champion Darci Drake to an impromptu match for the Woman's Title. Darci accepted and due to some questionable tactics, the wrestler formerly known as Princessa captured the championship to become "La Reyna" Pink, WOW's current Woman's Title holder. This Friday, on October 16th, Darci Drake will face off against La Reyna Pink once again. Here's what she had to say. Shortly after getting our quote from Darci, we had to pose these same questions back to the Woman's champion. After a rather long pause she had this to say. Seems like Darci may just about have Pink's number. Now many of you know that due to WOW's high caliber athletes, we were made a part of the National Wrestling Alliance some time back. Since that time there have been numerous member's of the WOW roster to have held many, many NWA championships and then go on to defend them around the world. Well, this Friday, the most current member of the WOW roster to claim NWA gold will defend that championship live at the Willowbrook Sports Complex. That Person is none other than SKAM-13 and he is our NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion. WOW... Really, it's all you can say. All this action is in store for you this Friday at the Willowbrook Sports Complex. Bell time is at 8:00 pm, make sure you get there early so you can grab a great seat for the best wrestling in Houston, Texas. Finally, we come to our Main Event of the evening. Last July, "Blast" DJ King won a six man Gauntlet Match for the WOW Heavyweight Championship. On the same night, Mr. Destiny made a surprising return to action as he made the save for Team Texas against NWA Oklahoma's High Society. As many of you know, Mr. Destiny is a former WOW Heavyweight Champion who was forced to vacate the title after a near career threatening injury. Now he's back, and he and the current WOW Champ have been going toe to toe week in and week out only to have each match ruined by a surprise attack from Silky Baines. The first week, Silky came in and attacked the Champ, giving Mr. Destiny a win, but no title. The second week, Silky interfered again, only this time attacking the WOW Champion DJ King. Over and over, Silky has been sticking his nose in the business of both of these competitors leaving them to wonder just who he is working for... Let's take a look at what the participants of this match have to say. Ladies and gentleman, let me assure you that this card is going to be extreme. WOW is really elevating the level of competition in Houston Texas and you don't want to miss any of it. |
